They have grown for well over a decade without any fertilizer or pesticides. Many years during that time they did not even receive a pruning, so they are in a style that maybe referred to in the industry as "Charlie Brown." We offer these trees for a $20-60 recommended donation for a 4-18' tree, or larger. They can be trimmed or styled to fit your tastes or room. We also have a large selection of pear and apple trees, grown at Green Hill Urban Farm in West Asheville, that will make a fantastic holiday gift for any foodie, just follow our link to Barkslip's Mirco-Nursery under our Current News page. I am currently in Koroni, Greece with Niko Theros of Theros of Theros Olive Oil also headquartered in Asheville, NC (www.therosoliveoil.com and another wonderful local holiday gift) helping with the harvest. We will not have our "holiday" trees available until Saturday the 12th of December, at Green Hill Urban Farm, sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you for visiting our website and your appreciation of local and sustainable products.
