"Green Hill seeks to provide convenient access to neo-agrarian culture and sustainable food to the surrounding Asheville area."
High Gravity Irrigation
Green Hill Urban Farm has implemented a high gravity fed irrigation system into its sustainable features to maintain the thirst of our aquaholic plant population. Using a large rain barrel as a reservoir, water pressure has been directed down slopes through an assortment of different sized hoses which provide supreme hrydo-oxygen efficiency that could not even be accomplished on the moon with the application of rocket science methodologies. And to top it all off, the rain barrel is going to become a habitat for minnow's which will keep the mosquito population at bay around the stagnate water.
Green Hill Urban Farm is always looking for new techniques financial and sustainably efficient. By collecting rain water, we are able to lower city water costs. Additionally, we can provide proper irrigation to all of our green plots.
