CSA Update
Stay informed about what is in this week's Green Hill Urban Farm CSA share. This week's CSA share is a bag full of fresh greens. The greens for this week include kale, lettuce, radishes, and applemint. View our Recipes page to make a delicious salad dressing.
The past two weeks have been specialty products brought in from two of Asheville's finest local agricultural entreprenuerships, Haw Creek Honey and Theros Olive Oil, LLC.
Haw Creek Honey is an East Asheville bee farming operation being ran by Greg Rogers, commonly referred to as the Honey Man. There are many places where one can find Haw Creek Honey, but non finer than at our Green Hill Urban Farm location in West Asheville.
Theros Olive Oil is derived from exquiste olive groves in the Messinian region of Greece that have been maintained by the Theros family for generations. Green Hill Urban Farm's own Mike Fortune participates in the annual harvest of this aromatic, visually appealing, and delicious extra virgin olive oil. After harvest and bottle processing has taken place, Theros Olive Oil is shipped back to Asheville where it is distributed by our close friend Nico Theros.
Find out more about this extraordinary product at www.therosoliveoil.com.
Both Haw Creek Honey and Theros Olive Oil are available at Green Hill Urban Farm.
